Claude Code plugin

Turns a Claude Code session into the meeting assistant. Claude Code does the thinking with your own login, memory and MCP servers; a small local listener writes the transcript.

Install

  1. Download meeting-ear-claude-code-plugin.zip and unzip it somewhere permanent, for example C:\tools\meeting-ear.
  2. The listener needs Python 3.11 or newer with pip install faster-whisper pyaudiowpatch numpy mcp. For the connector sync tool also unzip the local app package and pip install -e core.
  3. Load the plugin for a session:
claude --plugin-dir C:\tools\meeting-ear\meeting-ear

Or add it permanently: claude plugin marketplace add C:\tools\meeting-ear then claude plugin install meeting-ear.

  1. In /config, set the plugin options: the briefs folder and your microphone name.

Use

/meeting-ear:meeting harbor-lane Discovery call

Claude reads the brief, offers to sync stale connectors, starts the listener and keeps watching the transcript. It replies only when a line needs a fact, a correction, a suggested line or a warning, and stays silent otherwise. Say "run" when it proposes an action. Ask it "what did they just say about X" at any time.

Other commands:

  • /meeting-ear:meeting-sync <client> pulls facts from the client's connectors into the brief.
  • /meeting-ear:meeting-brief <client> builds a brief folder for a new client from pasted notes and sets up connectors.
  • /meeting-ear:meeting-recap writes the recap after the call.

Connecting StartupHQ

Nothing to do: the plugin uses the MCP servers your Claude Code already has. If StartupHQ is in your Claude Code config, the assistant can read it during the call and file the meeting into its approval queue afterwards.
