Using the web app

Sign in

Sign in with Google. Your briefs, sessions and connections are stored under your account and nobody else can see them.

Set up a client

  1. Clients, then New client. Give it a name.
  2. Fill the brief files. The template has the sections the assistant reads: The meeting, People, Facts and numbers, Open questions, Do not say.
  3. Connect sources on the Connect page (see Connecting StartupHQ). Then press Sync on the client's Sources tab so a connector-<name>.md file is written into the brief.

Run a call

  1. Open App. Pick the client in the top bar.
  2. Choose how to hear the call in Settings: Deepgram (streams audio to Deepgram, fastest, works on any machine) or In-browser (Whisper runs in your browser on WebGPU, nothing leaves the machine, needs a recent Chrome and a decent GPU).
  3. Press Start. Chrome asks you to share the Meet tab: pick the tab and tick "Share tab audio". Allow the microphone.
  4. Talk. Lines appear on the left, cards in the middle, the brief on the right.

During the call

  • Cards are colour coded: blue fact, amber correction, green line to say (with Copy), purple lookup, red warning, teal question, orange action.
  • Click a card's source chip to open the brief at that heading or the transcript at that line.
  • Press Run on an action card. The result arrives as a linked card. Research uses web search, lookup uses your connected sources, draft writes a follow-up in your voice.
  • Ask box: type a question. Change the mode next to it to start a research, lookup, code, draft or brief action yourself.
  • Right-click a transcript line to research it, name the speaker, or correct a misheard word.

After the call

Press Stop. The post-call strip offers Recap, File to CRM (proposes the meeting record and tasks into your CRM's approval queue), Export, and New session. Sessions keeps every call with its recap.

Cost

One assistant turn per minute of call is typical. With the default models a 50-minute call costs about 2 to 3 dollars in Anthropic usage, plus Deepgram at roughly a quarter cent per minute when you use that mode. Actions you fire cost 5 to 15 cents each. Settings shows the running total.
